Beauty On A Budget: 5 South African YouTubers With Budget Friendly Content

Hey bouquet! I hope you're all well and geared up for the new year. With 2019, coming to an end, I'll be dedicating the remainder of this year to self care and rejuvenating. I will only be publishing my next post in January and hopefully be more consistent in the new year. I've decided to dedicate my last blog post to one of my passions, beauty. In this post, I'll be recommending South African YouTubers who I think are running game when it comes to Beauty On A Budget content.

1. YouTube: Khay Republik

Khay is definitely a fave. She's a fashion and beauty YouTuber whose channel is the plug for girls who want to slay on a budget. She has makeup, hair and fashion plugs on her channel. I've been subscribed to her channel for a year now and her consistency is amazing. She has been dropping a lot of content this December. Hot girl summer couldn't get any better.

2. YouTube: Cindy Khan

I've been subscribed to Cindy's channel for a few months now and her content is amazing. She posts hair and beauty content. Cindy is a makeup artist and her skills are evident in the makeup tutorials she posts. Her hair plugs are perfect for anyone who's into wigs. She was asked why she started a YouTube channel on one of her YouTube Q&As that I watched. Her answer was that she believes in being boujee on budget and wants to share how to do just that with all her subscribers. That's more than enough reason to subscribe to her channel.

3. YouTube: Vongai Mapho

I've been subscribed to Vongai Mapho's channel for over a year now and she's definitely a fave. Want an honest review on a product or brand? Vongai is your girl. She is the plug for beginners or anyone who is trying to save coins while purchasing makeup. Vongai is also a makeup artist and her skills are undisputable. She mostly posts beauty content but has been letting us in on her life lately which I've been enjoying.

4. YouTube: Vicky Vee Jonas

I came across Vicky's Twitter account sometime last year and discovered that she has a YouTube channel. Her content is mostly hair reviews and her wig game is unmatched. This is why she showed up for team South African during our wig twar with the Americans. She also posts makeup content as well as clothing hauls.

This might be unrelated but Vicky has the best story times ever!

5. YouTube: ZEEXONLINE

Zee is one of the first South African YouTubers I subscribed to and I absolutely love her! She has a whole video on how to slay on a budget and not to be dramatic but that video changed my life. Zee's wig game is unmatched. She also showed up for us during the wig twar. Her channel ranges from hair and beauty, to vlogs and advice.

Coming up with this list was a hassle for me since I watch almost every South African YouTuber I come across but it had to be done. This list consists of the five YouTubers who I think are the plug for beauty on a budget so put yourselves on.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. I'll be back with another post in the new year. Take care.
