Style Muse: Mihlali Ndamase

Hey bouquet! I hope you're all well. Since my last fashion post ( Hot Girl Summer: 10 Trends To Try Out This Summer ) got a lot of traction, I decided to publish another fashion post. In this post however I'll be focusing on my all time favourite fashionista, Mihlali Ndamase. Writing this post without sounding like the groupie that I am was a huge challenge for me but I really tried my best. Fashion Muse is a new segment on my blog. Mihlali Ndamase, better known as Mihlali N is an award winning social media influencer and YouTuber. She has worked with big brands such as Nivea, Revlon and Daniel Wellington - just to mention a few. She also covered the Cosmopolitan in April this year.

I was first introduced (not in real life lol, I wish) to Mihlali through her YouTube channel back in highschool. I then looked her up on social media and just had to stan!

Mihlali is also a makeup artist. She recently held a mater class in Cape Town. Most of her YouTube content is makeup and travel vlogs. Her channel has over a hundred and fifty thousand subscribers.

Casual Chic

Like every other fashion icon, Mihlali is able to make a casual outfit look chic and elegant. She made a Levi's t-shirt and a pair of jeans look chic by just adding a scarlet red blazer and a pair of shades to it.

She also created another casual yet chic look by putting a mustard yellow leather jacket, a plain white t-shirt, black formal pants and a pair of stylish shades together.

Pretty In Pink

Mihlali is good at rocking clothing items that one would think are too plain or minimalistic. She makes them look good by simply wearing them in the most suitable colours, with the correct choice of shoes of course.

When it comes to making mini skirts and dresses look good, Mihlali should be our poster girl. Apart from her great sense of style, her gorgeous physique also makes her outfits effortlessly fashionable.

Classy Chic

Most of Mihlali's outfits are classy. They have a House Of CB vibe to them which I absolutely love. From linen and silk, to items with buttons and patterns on them.

Her classy outfits are my idea of what Coco Chanel would certify as true style.

High-End Fashion Items

Mihlali is the queen of luxurious fashion items. Her collection of high-end fashion items ranges from Louis Vuitton to Coco Chanel and Gucci.

She has also mastered the art of incorporating designer items into outfits without making them look tacky.

Mihlali With The Good Hair

Mihlali showed up for us during the wig twar between us and the Americans because her wigs are that good!

She is also very experimental with her hair. From growing out her fro, to having a big chop and dying her hair blonde.

Beauty & The Beat

Her makeup skills are undisputable. She rocks different makeup looks, not shying away from drama and bold colours. Watching her YouTube channel has taught me quite a lot about makeup. It has also made me realise how passionate she is about makeup.

Mihlali is also the co-founder of Siyasizana Foundation which is a non profit organization that mostly helps women and children. You can look up the foundation's pages on both Instagram and Twitter if you're interested in donating, or even raising awareness about it.
